The Suicide Squad director James Gunn took to Twitter to confirm that production on the upcoming first season of HBO Max’s newest DC spinoff series Peacemaker has finally been completed after 131 days of filming.
Based on the characters from DC, Peacemaker is written and created by James Gunn, who directed multiple episodes.
The filming wrap comes less than a month before the highly-anticipated theatrical and HBO Max release of The Suicide Squad, which is set to feature the introduction of John Cena’s titular hero.
It will be produced by Troll Court Entertainment and The Safran Company in association with Warner Bros. Television.
