According to Deadline, Warner Bros. Pictures and DC Films are currently in the process of developing a brand new superhero film adaptation of DC Comics character Hourman.
Before the two versions of Hourman debuted on The CW, the network previously tried to develop a live-action series centered around Rex Tyler.
This project also marks James and Widener’s latest collaboration with Warner Bros as they are also currently writing the studio’s live-action film adaptation of The Hot Wheels and New Line Cinema’s San Andreas sequel.
Joining the project as producers is Chernin Entertainment with writing duo Gavin James and Neil Widener attached to pen the feature.
