With Happy now fully recovered and set to return to the MCU in Jon Watts’ Spider-Man: Homecoming, we can only assume that Favreau will bring his trademark comedic sensibilities to the Wall Crawler’s corner of the MCU.
Seeing the evolution of Happy Hogan on the silver screen has been a treat over the course of the last nine years, and much of that has to do with the humor that Jon Favreau always brought to the role.
Directing himself alongside Robert Downey Jr. in the first two Iron Man films, he established a very strong on-screen chemistry with the Iron Avenger early on.
