Those who followed the production of Star Wars: The Force Awakens likely have clear memories of the time Harrison Ford was injured on the set.
Ford, it was reported at the time, was injured when the door of the Millennium Falcon set closed on the appendages in question.
The door had a weight comparable to that of “a small car,” a health and safety executive testified.
Harrison Ford probably won’t be in much of them, but the Star Wars slate is set: Rogue One: A Star Wars Story opens in U.S. theaters on December 16, 2016, followed by Star Wars: Episode VIII on December 15, 2017, the Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film on May 25, 2018, Star Wars: Episode IX in 2019, and the third Star Wars Anthology film in 2020.
