It’s been 45 years since A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving first hit the airwaves (it was the third holiday special, after A Charlie Brown Christmas and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown), but Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts holiday special continues to find its way into annual prime-time programming thanks to its enduring lessons on the values of the holiday season.
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will air on ABC next Wednesday, Nov. 21 at 8/7c, and the special can be purchased for streaming via Amazon Video, iTunes or Vudu.
Or if you’re already looking to get a jumpstart on Christmas viewing, you can also catch A Charlie Brown Christmas — the half-hour special in which Linus shows Charlie there’s so much more to the holidays than gifts and garland — on Amazon Prime (for purchase) and Vudu.
But if you’re looking for even more Charlie Brown, the balloon can be seen during the 92nd Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, which will air live on NBC at 9 a.m. ET on Thanksgiving.
