According to Warner Bros., Apa worked 14.2 hours on the day of the crash, not the previously reported 16 hours.
According to their data, Apa worked only 2.5 hours the previous day, and 7.7 hours the day before.
In fact, Warner Bros. went on to dispute some of the initial claims about the accident.
Warner Bros. released a statement that (via The Wrap) that they are “extremely grateful” that K.J. Apa was not injured in the accident that totaled his car, but that wasn’t all the production studio had to say.
