Annapurna Pictures has released the final If Beale Street Could Talk trailer from Oscar-winning writer/director Barry Jenkins (Moonlight).
Critically-acclaimed after its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, If Beale Street Could Talk opens in select theaters on December 14.
Based on the James Baldwin novel of the same name and set in early-1970s Harlem, If Beale Street Could Talk is a timeless and moving love story of both a couple’s unbreakable bond and the African-American family’s empowering embrace, as told through the eyes of 19-year-old Tish Rivers (screen newcomer KiKi Layne).
