Indie studio A24 has entered a multi-year agreement to produce films for the tech giant Apple, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Apple has not yet revealed distribution plans for their series, or how A24’s films will be distributed.
The indie studio usually handles theatrical releases, and they currently have a deal with DirecTV to jointly acquire projects for U.S. distribution.
The partnership with A24 is Apple’s first announcement regarding its plans for upcoming feature films.
