Interview with the Vampire Remake Script Is Finished

The filmmaker posted this photo of the script title page to his Instagram account last week, which revealed the title is in fact Interview With the Vampire, which will be based on the book of the same name, and The Vampire Lestat.

Way back in the summer of 2014, Universal Pictures acquired the rights to author Anne Rice’s entire The Vampire Chronicles novel series, including Interview With the Vampire, Queen of the Damned and The Vampire Lestat.

The movie fared much worse than Interview With the Vampire, taking in $30.3 million domestically and $45 million worldwide, from a $35 million budget.
