When Steve Rogers returned the Infinity Stones to their rightful place at the end of Avengers: Endgame, the super-soldier chose to stay behind and live out his remaining years with his true love, Peggy Carter.
The decision came not only as a shock, but it sparked confusion and wonder about what that act would have done to the timeline.
In an interview with SUPES, Loki’s head writer Michael Waldron was asked if the TVA would have pursued Steve after he created the alternate timeline with Peggy, and although Waldron’s answer was vague, it does give fans some insight into what could potentially be happening behind Loki’s curtain.
