Acclaimed filmmaker J.J. Abrams (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) and Oscar-winner Meryl Streep (Suffragette) are perhaps two of the most powerful people currently working in Hollywood.
According to Deadline, Abrams and Streep are directing and starring in with a rock during a strike on the campaign trail.
On that note, word has it that Abrams and Streep are primed to cross paths on a limited TV series production in the near very future.
Fresh off his success with relaunching the Star Wars movie franchise last year, Abrams is set to direct a number of episodes of a brand new mini-series starring Streep based on the debut novel The Nix, by up-and-coming American writer Nathan Hill.
