Jaimie Alexander says the reason she wasn’t able to appear in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok was due to scheduling conflicts with her role on NBC’s Blindspot.
Entertainment about the scheduling conflict ahead of Blindspot‘s season 3 premiere tonight, and she said that, although she wanted to reprise her role as Lady Sif for Thor: Ragnarok, she wasn’t given sufficient notice to make it happen.
The actress first appeared as the comic book character Lady Sif in Kenneth Branagh’s 2011 film, Thor.
Unfortunately, the schedules couldn’t match up and, thus, Alexander wasn’t able to reprise her role as Lady Sif, despite her initially teasing her involvement with the final installment in Marvel Studios’ Thor trilogy.
