The film is considered to be a potential Oscar contender, but it’ll be hard to judge The Disaster Artist beyond potential and buzz until the trailer is released to the public tomorrow.
James Franco’s The Disaster Artist, a passion project about one of the most infamous passion projects of all-time The Room, has received an official poster in advance of the trailer release tomorrow.
Franco directs from a script by Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, writers of (500) Days of Summer, The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns and The Spectacular Now.
As a dedication and tribute to Wiseau, Franco has gathered his comedy buddies and crafted The Disaster Artist, a look behind-the-scenes of the making of the film in the style of Tim Burton’s tribute to another legendarily bad filmmaker Ed Wood.
