Jennifer Lopez to play the 'Cocaine Godmother' in new HBO film

  • Jennifer Lopez has been cast as the Cocaine Godmother in what has to be her most brilliantly titled role to date.

  • The singer-actor will play infamous Colombian drug baroness Griselda Blanco in an as-yet-untitled HBO TV movie that she will also executive produce, Variety has learned.

  • “I’ve been fascinated by the life of this corrupt and complicated woman for many years,” Lopez said in a statement.
