Going Places is produced by Sidney Kimmel, John Penotti, Robert Salerno, Fernando Sulichin and Paul-Dominique Vacharasinthu.
Back in August, it was reported that John Turturro‘s remake of Going Places — a 1974 French film starring Gerard Depardieu, Jeanne Moreau and Isabelle Huppert — might actually be a Big Lebowski spin-off.
John Turturro plays Jesus Quintana in Going Places, a film about a trio of misfits whose irreverent, sexually charged dynamic evolves into a surprising love story as their spontaneous and flippant attitude towards the past or future backfires time and again, even as they inadvertently perform good deeds.
Turturro acquired permission from Joel & Ethan Coen to reprise the character from 1998’s cult sensation The Big Lebowski.
