Comedy Central has given a series order to Grace Edwards’ new adult animated spinoff titled Jodie, based on the character from MTV’s classic 90s sitcom Daria with Golden Globe winner Tracee Ellis Ross set to voice the titular lead.
Created by Glenn Eichler and Susie Lewis Lynn, Daria was also an animated spinoff of Mike Judge’s Beavis and Butt-Head.
Jodie is written and created by Grace Edwards, who is known for her work in HBO’s Insecure.
This marks the black-ish star’s first ever animated project, who has also signed on as an executive producer.
