A U.S. diplomat (Jon Hamm) flees Lebanon in 1972 after a tragic incident at his home.
Ten years later, he is called back to war-torn Beirut by CIA operatives (Rosamund Pike) to negotiate for the life of a friend he left behind.
Jon Hamm is a talented American diplomat who left the service after his comrades were killed, but now he’s back, trying to negotiate the release of his surviving friend in exchange for trading back one of the most dangerous terrorists.
Beirut will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival next week and will hit theaters April 3.
