Although Brolin will first be appearing in Infinity War next year, people won’t actually see his face since the character will be created using CGI (with Brolin’s motion-capture performance, of course). So, that’s, in part, why Deadpool 2 director Leitch and Marvel Studios head honcho Kevin Feige haven’t found an issue with Brolin playing both Cable and Thanos in two superhero franchises, simultaneously.
Josh Brolin plays both Cable and Thanos, and now new fan art has mashed those two roles together.
Brolin has quite the year coming up, with David Leitch’s Deadpool 2 and Anthony and Joe Russo’s Avengers: Infinity War both hitting theaters in 2018.
BossLogic took the first reveal photo from this morning and switched out the glove Brolin was wearing on his left-hand with the Infinity Gauntlet he will eventually possess as Thanos in Infinity War.
