Similar to Justice League, Patty Jenkins’ movie was part-financed by RatPac, meaning that Ratner himself would’ve taken home a substantial sum of money.
The relationship between the DCEU and Ratner’s production company RatPac goes as far back as Batman V Superman and extends through the likes of Suicide Squad to Justice League.
As Warner Bros. prepares for the release of Justice League on DVD and Blu-ray, the studio is officially severing any remaining ties with Brett Ratner’s involvement.
Justice League already has enough on its plate to make up for the critical and commercial failure of the movie, while an association with Ratner was surely never going to help the situation.
