Justin Lin will no longer be directing Fast X as he announced that he has stepped back from helming the blockbuster.
“With the support of Universal, I have made the difficult decision to step back as director of Fast X, while remaining with the project as a producer,” Lin said in a statement.
The franchise began in 2001 with the release of Fast & Furious, which was followed by a number of sequels, spin-offs, video games, and merchandise.
I will forever be grateful to the amazing cast, crew and studio for their support, and for welcoming me into the Fast family.”
