Coming off the heels of making its west coast debut at Beyond Fest, NEON has announced it will be bringing the horror-comedy Bad Hair from Dear White People writer/director/creator Justin Simien to drive-in theaters ahead of its October 23 Hulu debut, according to Variety.
Bad Hair is written and directed by Simien, who also serves as a producer alongside Julia Lebedev, Angel Lopez, and Eddie Vaisman.
The ensemble cast for the film includes Elle Lorraine, James Van Der Beek (Pose) and Usher Raymond (Hustlers).
Following its mostly positive debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January, Hulu acquired the rights to the horror-comedy in a multi-million dollar deal.
