Katie McGrath Cast as Lena Luthor in Supergirl

TVLine reports that Katie McGrath (Dracula, Merlin, Jurassic World) has landed the role of Lena Luthor, sister of Superman arch-nemesis Lex, in the second season of Supergirl where she will have a recurring role.

The character previously appeared in live action on the hit series Smallville where it was revealed Cassidy Freeman’s Tess Mercer learned she was actually Lena Luthor.

Lena has taken over as CEO of her family’s billion-dollar-tech company, Luthor Corp, which has been tarnished by Lex’s evil infamy.
