Until there is a real intention to marry Marvel Studios with the Netflix shows produced by Marvel TV, the MCU and the stable of comic book characters that make up the forthcoming The Defenders aren’t likely to share any screen time on the big or the small screen.
Even as lead actors like Charlie Cox continue to pine after their inclusion in a Marvel Studios big screen production, the small screen is undoubtedly where Cox and his fellow Marvel TV players will remain for now.
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has once again reiterated that the movie side of the Marvel Cinematic Universe won’t be crossing over with Marvel TV on Netflix, in the foreseeable future.
Even with the Marvel/Netflix TV show crossover event that is The Defenders arriving this summer, it appears as though Marvel Studios and Marvel TV will continue to remain separate entities until further notice.
