Deadline is reporting that recent Best Original Screenplay Oscar winner Jordan Peele (Get Out) and Keegan-Michael Key (Don’t Think Twice), formerly of Comedy Central’s Key & Peele, have taken their stop-motion animated feature film Wendell and Wild to Netflix, which will finance and distribute.
Key and Peele will provide the voices of the brothers, while acclaimed Argentinian artist Pablo Lobato will design the characters.
Key and Peele previously starred together in the 2016 comedy Keanu.
Peele will next star in the horror film Abruptio, and is writing an untitled original thriller at Universal for his directorial follow-up to Get Out.
