What’s been truly commendable about the marketing campaign for Kong: Skull Island so far, is how well the trailers, posters, and TV spots have been able to maintain a healthy focus on both Kong himself and the human characters of the film.
Past movies in this genre have been unsuccessful in offering enough of both sides, and that will undoubtedly, be one of Kong: Skull Island‘s biggest challenges as well.
Leading into the film’s release next month, it’s one of several aspects of the story that has been kept increasingly under-wraps.
Thus, it will be interesting to see how Roberts and co. maintain the balance between the human characters and the big monsters that audiences will come to the film, waiting to see.
