Ahead of its forthcoming series debut, Deadline brings word that Apple TV+ has officially renewed Oscar nominees Kumail Nanjiani and Emily V. Gordon’s Little America for a second season.
The series is written by Lee Eisenberg (SMILF), who will serve as showrunner and executive producer, and the husband-and-wife duo of Nanjiani and Gordon.
Little America is an immigration-themed anthology series based on the true stories featured in Epic Magazine, described as “a small, collective portrait of America’s immigrants — and thereby a portrait of America itself.”
Joshuah Bearman and Joshua Davis will act as executive producers for Epic Magazine alongside co-EP Arthur Spector.
