Lakers and Clippers’ Saturday Games Postponed Amid Ongoing Los Angeles Wildfires

“The Los Angeles community is in our hearts,” reads a statement posted to the Lakers’ X account early Saturday morning.

After postponing Thursday’s matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Charlotte Hornets, the NBA has announced it will reschedule two more L.A.-set games originally set for Saturday amid ongoing wildfires in the area.

Elsewhere in the sports world, the National Hockey League similarly postponed Wednesday’s planned match-up between the Los Angeles Kings and Calgary Flames; a makeup date has not yet been confirmed.
