Liam Neeson has drawn parallels to the Watergate scandal and the presidency of Donald Trump while promoting his new film at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF).
When asked about the current political climate in the US, Neeson told The Hollywood Reporter: “Democracy works and no man – and certainly not the President – is above the law.
A UK release date for the film is yet to be announced but it’ll be release din the US on 29 September.
Northern Ireland-hailing actor Neeson stars in the film alongside an ensemble cast including Diane Lane, as Felt’s wife Audrey, Tony Goldwyn, Maika Monroe, Michael C. Hall and Josh Lucas.
