Hilary Duff has hinted that the Lizzie McGuire reboot is having problems at Disney+ because it is not family-friendly enough.
Earlier this year, the show’s original creator and showrunner, Terri Minsky, unexpectedly left the revival after two episodes were filmed.
In October last year, Duff shared a first-look photo from the set of the revival in New York.
At the time, Disney+ said: “We need to move in a different creative direction and put a new lens on the series.”
