The series was first canceled by FOX after the third season before it found its new home on Netflix for Season 4.
However last summer before the first half of Season 5 released, Netflix announced it had renewed the dramedy procedural for a sixth and final, final, season that will consist of 10 episodes.
The streaming service then renewed it for a fifth and what was supposed to be final season.
In this case, those complaints had the opposite effect, though the series has not always had the easiest trajectory on the air.
