César-winning actor Omar Sy has officially signed a multi-year feature film deal with Netflix to develop original films for the streamer.
Omar Sy is best known for his acclaimed performance in the 2011 dramedy film The Intouchables, which won him the César Award for Best Actor, making him the first Black actor to receive the award.
Sy’s second collaboration with Netflix is the upcoming action comedy film titled Tour de Force, which is slated to arrive sometime next year.
He most recently starred in Netflix’s heist thriller series Lupin, with its first 10 episodes now available for streaming.
