Margot Kidder, best known for playing Lois Lane opposite Christopher Reeve in the classic Superman movies, has passed away at the age of 69.
In addition to her iconic Superman role, Kidder was beloved for her roles in horror films, including Brian De Palma’s Sisters, The Amityville Horror, and Black Christmas.
Later in her career, Kidder became an outspoken advocate and activist for political and environmental causes.
Kidder’s career spanned numerous decades and included memorable roles in the Superman films of the late ’70s and ’80s, and The Amityville Horror.
