Mariah Carey Will Finally Cameo on Empire

That long-teased Mariah Carey appearance on Empire is finally happening: Carey will cameo on the Fox musical drama October 5, as just announced during the networks Television Critics Association Summer Tour presentation.

Carey will play Kitty, an A-list music star (way to stretch, Mariah!) who comes to Empire Entertainment to collaborate with Jamal Lyon (Jussie Smollett) on a new track.
