It’s been a decade since filmmaker Mark Romanek was last seen in the feature world with the well-received romantic drama Never Let Me Go and now he’s ready to step back into the director’s chair for the Lionsgate horror-thriller Mother Land, according to Deadline.
Mother Land is expected to center around a family that has been haunted by an evil spirit for years.
Their safety and their surroundings come into question when one of the children questions if the evil is real.
Romanek is directing from a screenplay co-written by Kevin Coughlin and Ryan Grassby.
