Variety was the first to report on Mark Wahlberg replacing Chris Evans in Infinite. Writer for Movieweb since 2017.
Mark Wahlberg is in negotiations to take over for Chris Evans in Antoine Fuqua’s upcoming Infinite. Evans reportedly had to bow out of the action thriller due to a scheduling conflict in the last few weeks.
The release date for Paramount’s Infinite was recently announced as August 7th, 2020 and that date will more than likely remain, but with Mark Wahlberg on board instead of Chris Evans.
If Mark Wahlberg ends up officially taking on the role, he will be playing main character Evan Michaels in the highly anticipated movie.
