Maroon 5, the Adam Levine-led pop rock band behind hits like “Moves Like Jagger” and “Love Somebody,” has reportedly “pretty much accepted” the headlining spot at the Super Bowl LIII halftime show in February, according to Us Weekly.
Maroon 5 would be the first band to play at the Super Bowl since Coldplay in 2016.
The report is unconfirmed, but Us Weekly’s sourcing on Super Bowl performances has proven to be pretty reliable through the years.
Super Bowl LII will take place February 3, 2019 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.
