Marvel Directors Joke About Spider-Man’s Thor: Ragnarok Role

Given the Kiwi filmmaker’s well known penchant for crafting irreverent comedy in the past, his new movie set within the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe is sure to turn heads when it sees theatrical release among general audiences.

In Waititi’s characteristically playful fashion, the New Zealander responded that he would just need the web-slinger’s head post-haste, to which Watts responded with a contextually specific GIF.

In a recent string of messages conducted with fellow Marvel director Jon Watts (Spider-Man: Homecoming) on Twitter, Waititi innocently responded to Watts’ query as to whether or not Peter Parker would be needed on the set of Thor: Ragnarok.
