Marvel was already planning on releasing Infinity War in international territories starting April 25, but now U.S. moviegoers can look forward to seeing it during that same period.
This rescheduling also breaks from tradition, as the previous Avengers movies both came out at the beginning of May.
We should all be thankful that Mr. Stark… sorry, Downey, had a hankering for an earlier release.
In what first seemed like just a casual conversation with Robert Downey Jr. on Twitter, the Marvel Studios social media folks broke the big news that Avengers: Infinity War is being released in theaters a week earlier, which of course necessitates making a slight change to the teaser poster.
