At the Marvel panel for San Diego Comic-Con, a release date was given for Blade, which will be set in Marvel’s Phase Five.
Wesley Snipes played the martial artist Daywalker three times, in 1998’s Blade (the first successful Marvel Comics film), 2002’s Blade II and 2004’s Blade Trinity.
While talking about Marvel’s slate for Phase Five, Kevin Feige revealed that Blade will release in theaters on November 3, 2023, meaning it will release closest to the upcoming Ironheart Disney+ series.
Blade was created by writer Marv Wolfman and artist Gene Colan as a supporting character in the comic book “The Tomb of Dracula” #10 in July of 1973.
