At this point in his life, Lee was still working with Marvel, and he was a couple years away from moving to California to develop these properties for movies and television.

Whether this Stan Lee movie is only set in New York or becomes a globe-trotting journey, it’s a wise move to play around with his life and make him a secret agent-type hero.

While it’s peculiar that 20th Century Fox is making this Stan Lee movie rather than Disney, the company that bought Marvel in 2009, the idea of the Marvel writer getting to lead a crazy big screen adventure sounds amazing.
