Some of his most high-profile projects have involved reimagining classic heroes for the silver and small screen, so the potential of his take on He-Man, Battle Cat and the other citizens of Eternia is enticing, to say the least.
Even without David S. Goyer sitting down in the director’s chair for this Masters of the Universe project, there’s quite a bit to get excited about for this film.
Goyer is arguably best known for his work on Man of Steel, Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, as well as his upcoming Superman prequel series for the Syfy network, Krypton.
Beyond that, knowing Sony’s initial excitement about his first draft of the screenplay suggests a relatively significant degree of confidence in the overall strength of the story and the project as a whole.
