Plot details on the fourth live-action film in The Matrix franchise haven’t been revealed, and given the ending of 2003’s The Matrix Revolutions it’s not a clear cut answer.
The Matrix Revolutions was also the first film ever to release simultaneously in every major country at the same hour around the world.
Following the official confirmation that John Wick directors Chad Stahelski and David Leitch are indeed coming back to the Matrix universe for the highly-anticipated fourth installment, Stahelski has revealed new details about their upcoming stunt collaboration with Lana Wachowski.
Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Stahelski has teased Wachowski’s great ideas and “absolutely crazy” action sequences while also praising the Matrix 4 writer-director’s whole visual style.
