Enter ex-Today host Matt Lauer recently assured fans that his own comeback is in the works.
There is, apparently, enough time for him to forgive himself and move back into the spotlight — which is sure to delight the people who’ve worked with him who weren’t surprised at all that his dickish and creepy ways got exposed.
Louis CK’s recent Comedy Cellar set showed that some men who’ve admitted to sexual harassment — or worse — apparently believe they can determine their own expiration dates for their #MeToo exiles and just as some predicted, it would give other admitted offenders permission to star plotting their returns too.
It hasn’t even been a full year since Lauer got fired from his multi-million dollar gig as Today host, after which he published a weepy mea culpa saying, “There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions.”
