The horror series will consist of seven episodes and will be executive produced by creator/director Flanagan and Trevor Macy (The Haunting of Hill House, Oculus).
The series was picked up under the streamer’s multi-year television deal with Flanagan and Macy of Intrepid Pictures and is set to begin production this spring in Vancouver with Flanagan directing all seven episodes. Flanagan’s The Haunting of Bly Manor, the follow-up to the first season of his horror anthology series, The Haunting of Hill House, is currently being developed.
Mike Flanagan’s new Netflix horror project Midnight Mass has continued to expand its cast with the additions of Zach Gilford (Good Girls), Kate Siegel (The Haunting of Hill House) and Hamish Linklater (Legion) in lead roles, according to Deadline.
The Haunting of Hill House is written, directed and executive produced by Flanagan.
