The horror series will consist of seven episodes and will be executive produced by creator/director Flanagan and Trevor Macy (The Haunting of Hill House, Oculus).
The series was picked up under the streamer’s multi-year television deal with Flanagan and Macy of Intrepid Pictures and is set to begin production this spring in Vancouver with Flanagan directing all seven episodes. Flanagan’s The Haunting of Bly Manor, the follow-up to the first season of his horror anthology series, The Haunting of Hill House, is currently being developed.
After announcing in March that his latest partnership with Netflix, Midnight Mass, would delay production due to the global pandemic, Mike Flanagan (The Haunting of Hill House) has taken to Twitter to reveal that production has begun on the new series!
