It turns out there’s a lot more practical stonework in The Fate of the Furious than you might suspect.
Serving as the eighth official entry in the long-running Fast & Furious franchise, The Fate of the Furious has become a massive box office success worldwide, after less than two weeks in theaters.
According to Thrillist, a lot of the craziest stunts filmed for The Fate of the Furious were predominantly achieved in real life – most notably, including the Havana racing scene that opens the film (which was 99% real), as well as the Germany wrecking ball scene (which was 70% real).
Always a property eager to outdo the last entry in the series in terms of crazy stunts and outlandish action sequences, it would appear that most of the set pieces featured in The Fate of the Furious were accomplished in real life, at that.
