Season two followed the unraveling thread between Mr. Robot and Elliot, and further delved into the fallout after the five/nine hack.
Mr. Robot follows Rami Malek as Elliot Anderson, a hacker who works for a cyber-security firm.
Season three has thus far followed the further disintegration between Elliot and Mr. Robot, as well as the motivations for other characters involved.
Mr. Robot season 1 dealt with strictly with the planning and implementation of the five/nine hack, and featured the Fight Club-esque twist that Mr. Robot is a projection of Elliot’s dead father, and an extension of Elliot’s dual-personality.
