Born Gus Efstratiou in 1927, Michael Constantine would start his acting career on the stage in the 1950’s, through a production of Inherit The Wind.
On TV, Constantine saw himself guest starring on iconic shows like The Twilight Zone, Mission: Impossible and even Law & Order.
However, it was television and film that would see him building the bulk of his resume.
But his largest claim to fame was in the role of Principal Seymour Kaufman in the school based dramedy Room 222, which won him the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series in 1970.
