The story set to provide the basis for the fourth season of Netflix series Narcos has reportedly been decided.
New episodes are expeteced to focus on the Juárez Cartel, the head of which had a fleeting appearance in the show’s third season after meeting Cali Cartel’s Pacho Herrera.
According to the Express, season four will feature Amado Carrillo Fuentes, a Mexican drug lord who seized control of the Cartel after assassinating his boss Rafael Aguilar Guajardo.
The first two seasons focused on Pablo Escobar and, while originally designed to just focus on the drug kingpin, creators decided to name the show Narcos so the series could outlive Esboar’s death.
