Netflix is bringing its original movies Bright and Death Note, as well as the original series Stranger Things and Voltron: Legendary Defender, to the 2017 International Comic-Con in San Diego.
In addition, Netflix has confirmed that there will be a “surprise screening” for one of its original movies at this year’s Comic-Con.
It’s certainly plausible that either Death Note or Bright is the mystery movie in question, though Netflix might instead use the event to promote another one of its original movies altogether.
Bright and Death Note are both fitting choices for the streaming giant to bring to the annual event, with the former of the two genre movies being a fantasy/buddy cop mashup directed by David Ayer (End of Watch, Suicide Squad).
